Concesión de obra, para la redacción del proyecto y dirección facultativa, construcción y explotación del Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones de Madrid

TENDER DESCRIPTION

Within the scope of the powers assigned to Turespaña, it has obtained authorisation from the Council of Ministers to tender the public works concession for the Madrid Congress Palace at the meeting held on 6 May 2025. The complex will be subject to full rehabilitation that began in 2023 with the redevelopment and extension works on Building B in order to become the future headquarters of Onu-Turismo. The new tender is intended to award the public works concession for the rest of the properties that make up the complex. The successful bidder will be responsible for drafting the execution project, carrying out the works and operating the Congress Palace and its car park for a concession period of 40 years in return for an annual fee that will be paid to Turespaña. The concession period is 40 years, including a phase for drafting the execution project and works of 48 months. The project CAPEX is EUR 105.7 million, and the project IRR is 7.65%. Once all administrative formalities have been completed, Turespaña will publish the tender on the Public Procurement Platform (Plataforma de Contratación del Sector Público) and in the Official Journal of the European Union (DOUE).…
