TENDER DESCRIPTION
The Concession Zutphen-Hengelo-Oldenzaal starts on 10 December 2028 and has a duration of 4 years and may be extended at most twice, each time by one year. This Concession applies as a bridging concession. During the term of the Concession, the Contracting Authority aims to realize the electrification of the route. At the time of the initial publication of this Descriptive document, ProRail carries out a plan elaboration for this purpose. After the end of the Concession, the Contracting Authority intends to deploy electric Trains in a subsequent concession. The Executive Board of the Provinces of Overijssel and Gelderland are (each for its territory) responsible for the Concession Zutphen-Hengelo-Oldenzaal. This Concession will be awarded by means of an open European procedure. The Province of Overijssel will act as the contracting authority during the procurement procedure. See procurement documents.
