TENDER DESCRIPTION

The concession aims to develop a heating network on the territory of the municipality of Sambreville. The heat production must allow the recovery of one or more local thermal energy sources (renewable energy, recovery energy, and waste heat). The distributed heat will cover the heating and domestic hot water needs of numerous public or private buildings located in the territory. The heating network will thus serve a wide range of public and private beneficiaries. The project pursues several strategic objectives. Firstly, it aims to reduce CO₂ emissions in the local territory by substituting a significant portion of natural gas consumption with local and decarbonized energy. Furthermore, it fits within a circular economy logic by transforming local thermal waste into an energy resource for the inhabitants, companies, and public facilities of Sambreville. Beyond its environmental benefits, the network will offer consumers an energy source with a more stable cost and less sensitivity to fluctuations in energy markets, while supporting the development of new real estate projects and public infrastructures, as well as job creation in the territory.
