TENDER DESCRIPTION

This tender seeks a main supplier for the construction of a new single-storey Village Hall, including attic storage, and football changing facilities located at the Recreation Ground, Whitcross, Barwick, Yeovil, Somerset BA22 9TQ. The comprehensive scope of works encompasses building construction, utility installations, external area developments, and the provision of access and parking facilities. The completed hall is intended to serve as a flexible, multi-use community hub supporting various groups, the Parish Council, wellbeing activities, small events, family programmes, and general local services, alongside dedicated changing room facilities for teams and officials utilising the adjacent football pitch. This project will be executed under a JCT intermediate contract, which includes a Contractor Design Portion for specific elements, and has already secured full planning approval under reference 22/03289/FUL.
