TENDER DESCRIPTION

The supply of drinking water to the Valldeperes neighbourhood depends on water coming from the Valldeperes well located to the west of the town of the same name, approximately 50 metres in plan and at an elevation of 660 metres above sea level; the well has a depth of 1.5 metres. The water from the Valldeperes well originates from an aquifer with gypsum strata and concentrations of elements have been detected there above the limits established by Royal Decree 140/2003. From the Valldeperes well, the water is pumped to the Valldeperes reservoir, located north of the town centre and at 690 metres above sea level. From the Valldeperes reservoir, the water is distributed by gravity through a network renewed in 2009, taking advantage of Pavement and Services works under the PUOSC. The town of Valldeperes also has a second source, the Nou Valldeperes Well, which was commissioned in 2020 and is currently dry. The Nou Valldeperes Well is located to the south-east of the town centre, approximately 800 m away in plan and at an elevation of 635 metres above sea level.
