The contract duration will be 12 months, commencing from the date specified in the contract's start act. The maximum total duration of the contract, including any potential extensions, will be 4 years. Extensions, if applied, will be for periods of up to 12 months. The contract covers services for the years 2026-2030 and is divided into 4 lots.

The core scope of work for this tender involves the maintenance, conservation, and restoration of public heritage, specifically focusing on buildings and sculptural elements. Key activities explicitly stated include:

• Restoration and consolidation of architectural volumes: This involves opening and cleaning fissures, stitching cracks with stainless steel staples, injecting epoxy resins into finer fissures, and injecting cement grout into wider fissures to solidify and consolidate the structure.
• Restoration of ceramic cladding: This includes the extraction and removal of deteriorated pieces, replacement and fixing of broken and missing pieces with lime mortar, and reproduction of new pieces (including template formation, molds, photographic and color study, packaging, and transport).
• Repair and integral restoration of sculptural ensembles: This encompasses the cleaning of bronze figures and bases with water and mechanical means, extraction of existing incrustations, and necessary treatment for integration, stabilization, consolidation, and protection.
• Restoration of specific elements: Examples include the "Taula de Distàncies a Barcelona," which involves reconstructing disappeared parts if documented, supplying and placing a marble plaque, calculating and engraving distances, and restoring the perimeter railing.
• Surface cleaning: This involves micro-aspiration to remove dirt accumulation and superficial dust removal using a vacuum cleaner and soft brushes.
• Provision of materials: This includes a forecast for materials like mortars, gravel, lime, steel, ceramic tiles, and paint, as well as other unforeseen items during routine conservation of heritage buildings.
• Scaffolding and auxiliary means: This includes the daily amortization of fixed metallic tubular scaffolding and all necessary auxiliary means for restoration work.
• Documentation: A crucial deliverable is the final restoration documentation for the interventions. This includes photographic follow-up (before, during, and after), graphic documentation of intervention zones, an explanatory report of collected data, and a preventive conservation protocol. Three electronic copies and one paper copy are required.
• Specialized personnel: All work must be performed by restoration specialists with proven experience, following the directives of the D.O.
• Provision of equipment and facilities: This includes a digital camera for photographic follow-up, an endoscopic camera (at least 3m long), a 7" tablet with 4G connection for incident communication, an on-site office and WC cabin, a marked van for materials and transport, and a warehouse/workshop area not less than 20m2 within Barcelona for off-site restoration.
