TENDER DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this contract is the provision of the vehicle removal service from public roads or public spaces by using a crane vehicle in the cases in which this is required by the Local Police officers. Approximately a total of 200 services per year are carried out for infringements of municipal by-laws, for traffic accidents, for permanent driveways, for breakdowns, etc. In general terms, the organisation of the service shall always be carried out under the direct orders of the Local Police, and specifically in the following cases: • For infringement of the Municipal Traffic By-laws, road regulations and other laws, when these provide for this. • In those cases in which it is requested from the Local Police by the competent authorities or bodies, in accordance with the applicable regulations. • For abandonment of vehicles on public roads in accordance with regulations on residual vehicle treatment. • In any other case deemed necessary by the Local Police, in accordance with current legislation. • When the parked vehicle constitutes a danger, causes serious disruptions to traffic or pedestrians, or damages any public service or public property.
