TENDER DESCRIPTION

The purpose of the Project is to reduce the risk of flooding in the municipalities involved, mainly in Aldaia and Xirivella, by channeling the floods of the Barranco de la Saleta caused at its headwaters by heavy rainfall episodes, to conduct them to the new course of the Turia River, allowing the environmental connection of the last section through the proposed greenway and increasing the current level of protection against flood risk. The actions included in the Project comprise the environmental adaptation of the Barranco de la Saleta, a channeling that begins at the height of the CV 410 near the access to Aldaia, its industrial zone and the Bonaire shopping center, an underground derivation conduit under the industrial estate and bordering the urban area of Aldaia, and an open-section greenway on land from downstream of the roundabout connecting Aldaia, Xirivella, and Alaquas and the vicinity of the EDAR Quart Benager for discharge into the new course of the Turia River.
