TENDER DESCRIPTION

In accordance with Article 28 of Law 9/2017, of 8 November, on Public Sector Contracts (hereinafter LCSP), the contract proposed is necessary for the fulfilment and implementation of the institutional purposes of the Confederación Hidrográfica del Segura, O.A. (hereinafter CHS). The CHS has a fleet of 130 vehicles assigned to the various Units of the Agency, intended for the maintenance of hydraulic infrastructure, the control of the public hydraulic domain and the provision of operational services. Given the intensity of use and the diversity of ages and manufacturers, continuous availability of spare parts and other maintenance elements is required in order to guarantee operational capability, safety and continuity of the public service. Given the obligation to keep the vehicles available in the proper conditions and since the CHS disposes of facilities and qualified personnel to carry out these maintenance tasks, continuity of the contract for the supply of spare parts for preventive and corrective maintenance of the vehicles that make up the CHS fleet is required.
