TENDER DESCRIPTION

This lot comprises the Custom pack for cataract processes, intraocular lenses, and different miscellaneous material necessary to perform cataract procedures. Furthermore, within the scope of this lot, the assignment of the phacoemulsification equipment required to carry out these procedures is included. This lot will be awarded to the same tendering company that submits the best offer in accordance with the award criteria set out in section J of the Characteristics Table (Cuadro de Características); therefore, in this lot, proposals must be submitted for the entire lot. This circumstance is due to the fact that the awardee of this lot must provide the phacoemulsification equipment required to carry out the cataract surgical procedures, complying with the terms set out in section 4 of the Technical Specifications Document (Pliego de Prescripciones Técnicas); therefore, all products included in this lot must be used with the assigned equipment, and therefore they must be compatible with it.
