TENDER DESCRIPTION

The essential purpose of the contract is to provide the consortium with high-quality urban planning proposals (or guiding ideas at preliminary project level) that reflect, in their design, the most appropriate sustainability and innovation strategies and technical criteria for the urban development of the new plots of land that fall within the consortium’s responsibility, with a level of definition sufficient for that purpose. By means of the involvement of a jury, the proposals submitted may be assessed and selected in accordance with the criteria established in the specifications. This design competition may, where applicable and in accordance with the provisions of Articles 168.d) and 185.4 of the Law on Public Sector Contracts, lead to the subsequent award to one of the competition winners, following the initiation of a negotiated procurement procedure without prior publication in which all the winners will be invited to take part, of a services contract for drafting and support in the administrative processing of the planning instrument required in order to establish the general and detailed urban planning for the new development area.
