TENDER DESCRIPTION

The purpose of the public procurement is to conclude a group life and accident insurance contract in order for MÁV Passenger Transport Co. Ltd., as the contracting authority, to establish the conditions for life and accident insurance coverage entitlements based on the currently effective Collective Agreement (CA). Under the insurance contract, the insurer fulfills the obligation to reimburse life and accident insurance benefits entitled to the company's employees with the insurance services it provides. According to Article 69 of the current Collective Agreement, in case of the employee's death not caused by a work accident, an amount of HUF 750,000 is payable to the heir(s) or beneficiary(ies), which the employer is entitled to provide also through insurance contract. According to Article 77 of the current Collective Agreement, if the employee dies, becomes crippled, suffers partial health damage, or becomes unfit for work as a result of a work accident, the employer is obliged to pay the following compensation amounts to the employee or his/her heir(s) or beneficiary(ies) – beyond the provisions set out in Articles 166–178 of the Labour Code – which the employer is also…
