TENDER DESCRIPTION
The aim of the project is to obtain an overall overview of the embedded operating systems used in the vehicle (including virtualization environments) and to assess the cybersecurity properties. The operating conditions (hardware platforms, access possibilities to control units, etc.) and the interaction of the operating systems within the overall vehicle architecture are to be included. In addition to examining the systems currently available on the market and relevant standards, an outlook on future developments is also to be provided. Requirements for vehicle operating systems from a cybersecurity perspective shall be derived from the applicable regulations and standards. This includes requirements for tests within the scope of type approval and market surveillance. In addition to source research for the market overview, practical analyses of various operating systems are also to be carried out. These are to be performed as part of work package 5 (AP 5).
