TENDER DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a device that monitors the line feed (EDI over IP multicast) and, in response to events and failures, reacts according to our requirements as stated in the performance specification. The aim is to be able to continue operating selected transmitters in an SFN in the event of a communications failure. The device shall have at least four inputs and two outputs for the different switching of the line signal paths. Two inputs are used for the normal EDI signals from the leased lines, and two further inputs are connected to EDI signals via reserve paths that are provided on site. Further interfaces are provided for remote access and local access. This device is called Modulation Automation (MA). The estimated scope comprises: - 64 modulation automations - 24 splitter pairs (2 controllers per SFN = 48 units)
