TENDER DESCRIPTION

The maintenance of the flood protection dikes (including forelands) is carried out by grazing sheep according to the "Specifications for the Contract - Grazing" (see tender documents). Regarding the scope of services to be provided, reference is made to the "Specification of Services - Grazing" (see tender documents) and to the overview plan provided for the lot. Grazing is only to be carried out in the specified periods as shown in the "Schedule for Dike Maintenance from 2027 (Grazing/Follow-up Mowing)" (see tender documents). During the execution periods, at least 8 sheep per hectare must be used for grazing on the areas. Grazing services must be completed and sheep fully removed from the areas by the end of each execution period, as mechanical follow-up mowing will be carried out on the affected areas after a subsequent regeneration phase. Further details on the contract scope and services can be found in the tender documents (specifications, etc.).
