TENDER DESCRIPTION

These eight sectors form the core of the study framework. The AN shall take into account material interdependencies and strategic partnerships with other energy-intensive sectors as well as upstream and downstream industrial sectors, [JS5.1]provided these are relevant for the assessment of strategic material and substance flows. The AN must identify and assess supply gaps, dependencies, conflicts of use and opportunities in decarbonised value chains resulting from this [JS6.1][CI6.2]. In addition, the AN must identify future-proof business models that enable industry and policy to make use of the resulting opportunities and overcome transformation risks. The objective of the contract is to produce a study to provide decision-makers from industry and policy with reliable information and options for action. The study to be prepared must show how the transformation of raw material use and value creation can be designed proactively, in a coordinated manner and in a way that is competitive.
