TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contract’s purpose is to delegate, by concession, the management of the component activities of the waste collection service of Maramureș County, namely: - the transfer of municipal waste to transfer stations, including the separate transport of residual waste to non-hazardous waste landfills and/or to integrated treatment facilities, of separately collected paper, metal, plastic and glass waste to sorting stations and of bio-waste to composting facilities and/or anaerobic digestion facilities; - sorting separately collected paper, cardboard, metal, plastic and glass waste from municipal waste at sorting stations, including the transport of residues resulting from sorting to waste landfills and/or to energy recovery facilities; - mechanical-biological treatment of residual waste at mechanical-biological treatment installations or, as applicable, at integrated treatment installations, including the transport of biologically stabilised waste and residual waste that can no longer be recovered at waste landfills and of residual waste that is recoverable through energy recovery at energy recovery facilities; - aerobic treatment of separately collected bio-waste at composting…
