TENDER DESCRIPTION
Gladsaxe Municipality, Gladsaxe Almennyttige Boligselskab and DaB-Lejerbo wish, as part of a new comprehensive building-related master plan for the public housing estate Værebro Park in Bagsværd, to establish a shared neighbourhood house centrally in the area. The building is intended to function as an attractive meeting place, a local living-room and gathering place for residents of Værebro Park and the surrounding Bagsværd. Among other things, the shared house must include a library, workshops, meeting rooms, event/function rooms, a laundry room and a café. The overall vision for the area is to develop Værebro Park into an integrated part of Bagsværd. The aim is to break with Værebro Park’s isolation from the rest of the town and gather all of Bagsværd so that citizens meet across the district, in the district’s children’s facilities, schools, culture and leisure offerings, etc. The comprehensive building-related master plan is intended to future-proof the housing estate through extensive renovation. The master plan may also strengthen the greenery in the area as a single, coherent landscape with improved footpath connections, more accessible nature experiences and attractions…
