TENDER DESCRIPTION

Hagener Straßenbahn AG (HST) currently has 68 DFI display units and 240 DFI-Light display units installed in its operating area. The DFI display units are connected to the ITCS system and provide passengers with real-time information at the stops. Thanks to the dynamic information, customers are always kept up to date and can use the time until the bus departs for other purposes, e.g. running errands. In addition, the displays can be supplied with information and special texts that, for example, refer to operating disruptions, detours, but also to events. This information is provided much more targeted and direct than through other media. The DFI-Light display units complement the DFI network and also provide real-time data, which is delivered via the VRR-XML interface. This interface is, in turn, connected via the IDS server to the ITCS system of Hagener Straßenbahn and other transport operators. The DFI display units with scheduled departure times therefore form part of the components with the greatest practical benefit for our passengers.
