TENDER DESCRIPTION

Hagener Straßenbahn AG (HST) currently has 68 DFI displays and 240 DFI-Light displays installed within its operating area. The DFI displays are connected to the ITCS system and provide passengers with real-time information at stops. Thanks to the dynamic information, customers are always kept up to date and can use the time until the bus departs for other purposes, e.g. errands. In addition, the displays can be provided with information and special messages, which can indicate, for example, operating disruptions, diversions, but also events. This information is delivered significantly more targeted and directly than through other media. The DFI-Light displays supplement the DFI network and also provide real-time data, which is supplied via the VRR-XML interface. In turn, this is connected via the IDS server to the ITCS system of Hagener Straßenbahn and other transport operators. The DFI displays with real departure times therefore belong to the components with the greatest practical benefit for our passengers.
