TENDER DESCRIPTION
In accordance with Section 12a of the Act on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (Bundesgleichstellungsgesetz - BGG), the Federal Employment Agency (BA) is required to ensure accessibility of its digital offerings and information. This legal obligation applies to all IT applications (including, among others, the internet and intranet), but also to digital documents such as PDF documents as well as in the course of electronic records management (Section 2 BITV 2.0). To verify and ensure this, the Usability Accessibility Center (UAC) commissions external assessments for IT applications already in use, as well as for IT applications to be newly procured or developed. In addition, the units and departments are accompanied and supported in remedying identified accessibility problems, and also when developing the integration of accessibility into the software development process from the outset (Shift-Left). The subject of procurement is a contingent of service support for the BA, in particular for the Usability Accessibility Center (UAC) for the services described in the performance specification.
