TENDER DESCRIPTION
Pursuant to Section 12a of the Act on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (Behindertengleichstellungsgesetz - BGG), the Federal Employment Agency (BA) is required to ensure accessibility for its digital offers and information. This statutory obligation applies to all IT applications (e.g. Internet, intranet), but also to digital documents such as PDF documents, as well as in the course of electronic file management (§ 2 BITV 2.0). To verify and ensure this, the Usability Accessibility Center (UAC) commissions external assessments for IT applications that are already in use, for IT applications to be newly procured, or for IT applications being developed. In addition, the units and divisions are supported and accompanied when addressing identified accessibility issues, and also when developing the integration of accessibility into the software development process from the very beginning (Shift-Left). The subject matter of procurement is a pool of service support for the BA, in particular for the Usability Accessibility Center (UAC) for the services described in the specification of requirements.
