With the ongoing digitalization of the state administration, requirements for quality assurance are also increasing. This is because, without sufficiently tested—and thus quality-assured—solutions, stable IT operations cannot be guaranteed. Statutory requirements regarding the security and accessibility (barrier-free accessibility) of the provided procedures increase the requirements further. Against this backdrop, HZD established the Test Center Hessen (TCH) in 2022 and has operated it since then as a central organizational unit for standardized testing services. The Test Center Hessen functions as the central organizational unit for standardized testing services and, in this context, aligns with established industry standards and best practices, in particular ISO/IEC 29119 and ISTQB. The Test Center Hessen (TCH) of HZD offers internal and external customers tailored services on the subject of testing.
