The contract start date is one day after the award of the contract.
The regular duration of the contract (Regellaufzeit) is 2 years (24 months).
The contract can be extended by one year at a time, with a maximum of two extensions possible. The contract automatically extends by one year if not terminated by the client with a 3-month notice period before the end of the regular term or the first extension year.
Therefore, the total duration, including all possible extensions, is a maximum of 4 years (48 months) from the contract start date. The contract ends at the latest 4 years after its commencement, without requiring further termination.

Lot 1: Design, User-Experience (UX) and User-Interface (UI)
This lot focuses on the continuous development of the existing design system for the BayernCloud Schule platform and its services. Deliverables include the establishment and design of UX elements, specifically information architectures (structuring content and functionalities, developing hierarchical navigation models, defining roles and authorization structures from a UX perspective), user flows and interaction models (modeling end-to-end user journeys, mapping different usage contexts, designing efficient workflow processes, defining interaction logics, and optimizing existing interaction patterns), and structural UX guidelines (establishing uniform design tokens, defining scaling rules for responsive layouts, and modeling barrier-free UX patterns). It also involves the design, maintenance, modernization, and optimization of UI components, such as interactive basic components like buttons, and accompanying consulting services.
Lot 2: Frontend Development
The objective of this lot is the conclusion of a service contract for frontend development and related consulting services. The services include the implementation and development of modular, reusable UX/UI components and user interfaces, as well as their testing and documentation. The goal is the continuous provision of services that enable consistent, high-performance, and maintainable frontend development for ongoing evolution and optimization of user interfaces. This also encompasses web development, testing and delivery of services, and consulting and support services.
The overall aim of the tender is the procurement of various services in UI/UX, frontend development, and accompanying consulting services for the Staatsinstitut für Schulqualität und Bildungsforschung.
