TENDER DESCRIPTION

The district of Fürth intends to construct a 4-court sports hall with a grandstand on the plot of the Dietrich- Bonhoeffer Gymnasium in Oberasbach as a replacement building for the existing sports hall. The sports hall was built between 1974 and 1978. Through the replacement new build, it is intended to enable physical education again in a functional sports hall, the adjustment of standards for championships, improvement of energy efficiency and, as a result, the reduction of operating costs. For the users – schoolgirls, schoolboys and sports clubs of the district of Fürth – a safe and attractive sports facility is to be provided in which cross-sport events, indoor district championships or international indoor masters can also take place. During the works, teaching in the existing sports hall can continue, as the replacement new build is planned at another location. Club sports can also continue. The changing-room building is in a very poor state and is to be demolished. The areas are to be integrated, if possible, into the new sports hall building.
