TENDER DESCRIPTION

The district of Fürth intends to construct a 4-court sports hall with a grandstand on the site of the Dietrich-Bonhoeffer Gymnasium in Oberasbach as a replacement building for the existing sports hall. The sports hall was built between 1974 and 1978. With the replacement new build, regular physical education classes should be possible again in a functional sports hall, with the adaptation of standards for championships, improved energy efficiency and, as a result, reduced operating costs. For users—female and male students and sports clubs of the district of Fürth—a safe and attractive sports facility is to be provided in which cross-disciplinary sports events, indoor district championships, or international indoor masters can also take place. During the execution phase, teaching in the existing sports hall can continue, as the replacement new build is planned at a different location. Club sports can also continue.
