TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement is a diffusion capacity/spirometry equipment to be delivered to the Mikkeli Central Hospital of the South Savo wellbeing services county (Eloisa) (1 unit), as well as device-specific consumables, software, licences and maintenance services. The procurement also includes an option for two (2) similar equipment sets (diffusion capacity/spirometry equipment) and for one (1) spirometry equipment. Eloisa decides by the end of 2028 whether to procure any possible options. The contract period begins upon signature of the contract. The contract will be signed as soon as possible after a legally valid decision. The contract is valid until further notice. The device must be suitable for measuring diffusion capacity and for carrying out spirometry examinations. Spirometry and diffusion capacity are key functional lung tests. Spirometry measures lung volumes and airflow, which helps identify obstructive conditions (e.g. asthma, COPD) or restrictive lung diseases.
