TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement is a diffusion capacity-/spirometry equipment set (1 item) to be delivered to the Mikkeli Central Hospital of the South Savo welfare region (Eloisa), as well as device-specific consumables, software, licences and maintenance services. The procurement also includes an option for two (2) sets of similar equipment (diffusion capacity-/spirometry equipment) and one (1) spirometry equipment set. Eloisa will decide on acquiring any possible options by the end of 2028. The contract period begins on the signing of the contract. The contract shall be signed as soon as possible after a final and legally binding decision. The contract is valid until further notice. The device must be suitable for measuring diffusion capacity and for performing spirometry examinations. Spirometry and diffusion capacity are essential functional lung tests. Spirometry measures lung volume and airflow, which helps identify obstructive (e.g. asthma, COPD) or restrictive lung diseases.
