TENDER DESCRIPTION
The objective of the Lapland Welfare Area is to digitalise and automate mailing processes and thereby achieve savings both in the use of personnel resources and in mailing costs. The subject of the procurement is a multi-channel electronic letter-sending service that offers versatile options for sending and receiving. Multi-channel, in terms of sending, refers for example to a printer driver feature, a web portal and open interfaces. In terms of receiving, multi-channel refers to delivering letters to electronic distribution channels or, as a traditional letter, printing, placing in an envelope, and delivering to the recipient. The overall package to be procured includes: 1. An electronic letter service (SaaS = Software as a service), including the system as a software service, including all necessary software and drivers 2. Printing, enveloping and mailing services for physical letters 3. Deployment of the SaaS service and tailoring to the contracting authority’s needs and environment 4.
