TENDER DESCRIPTION
The aim of the Lapland Welfare Area is to digitise and automate mailing processes and thereby achieve savings both in the use of personnel resources and in mailing costs. The subject of the procurement is a multi-channel electronic letter-sending service that offers a variety of options for sending and receiving. By multi-channel in sending, for example, it is meant features such as a printer driver, a web portal and open interfaces. In receiving, multi-channel refers to delivering letters to electronic distribution channels or, as a traditional letter, printed, envelope-stuffed and delivered to the recipient up to the recipient. The overall package to be procured includes: 1. An electronic letter service (SaaS = Software as a service) including the system as a software service, including all necessary software and drivers 2. Printing, envelope stuffing and mailing service for physical letters 3. Deployment and adaptation of the SaaS service to the contracting authority’s needs and environment 4. System support and maintenance services 5. Further development and expert services for the system or service. The procurement will be competitively tendered for a fixed-term contract…
