Digitalisierung Schreibpegelbögen der Landeshydrologie

TENDER DESCRIPTION

The State Office for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Geology of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (LUNG) plans the digitisation of all water level chart record forms stored in the archives of the 5 locations (Schwerin, Rostock, Stralsund, Ueckermünde and Neubrandenburg) held by the StÄLU. The following main objectives are in the foreground: • prevent the physical loss of important records • digitise documents available in paper form (water level chart record forms, water level note sheets, etc.) • extract measurement data with higher resolution from the water level chart record forms • check the quality of the digitised final result • provide historical data as digital time series usable in the FIS Pegel The data obtained in this way expands the data basis of state hydrology by generating time series with a high temporal resolution for periods in the more distant past in which water level chart record forms were predominantly used, instead of data with daily resolution or reference values at set times, for these time periods.
