TENDER DESCRIPTION

The DLR site in Braunschweig comprises an approximately 16.5 ha property with technical infrastructure that has grown over decades. The electrical supply is provided via an existing 20 kV medium-voltage network in ring structure with a total of seven transformer substations. The existing medium-voltage and low-voltage switchgear is for the most part older than 20 years and is to be renewed successively in order to meet current technical, operational and future requirements. The total connected load of the property is approximately 11.5 MW. Of the switchgear to be considered within the scope of this measure, approximately 4.7 MW apply. In addition, the future integration of photovoltaic systems with a capacity of approximately 1.5 to 2.0 MW is planned. The switchgear to be planned shall be designed accordingly for the switching and supply capacities expected in the future.
