TENDER DESCRIPTION

The DLR site in Braunschweig comprises an approximately 16.5 ha property with technical infrastructure that has grown over decades. Electrical supply is provided via an existing 20 kV medium-voltage ring network with a total of seven transformer substations. The existing medium-voltage and low-voltage switchgear installations are predominantly more than 20 years old and are to be renewed step by step in order to meet current technical, operational and future requirements. The total connected load of the property is approximately 11.5 MW. Of the switchgear installations to be considered within the scope of this measure, approximately 4.7 MW apply. In addition, the future integration of photovoltaic systems with a capacity of approximately 1.5 to 2.0 MW is planned. The switchgear installations to be designed are to be sized accordingly for the switchgear and supply capacities expected in the future.
