TENDER DESCRIPTION

The DLR site in Braunschweig comprises a property of approximately 16.5 hectares with technical infrastructure developed over decades. Electrical supply is provided via an existing 20-kV medium-voltage power grid in ring structure with a total of seven transformer substations. The existing medium-voltage and low-voltage switchgear is for the most part older than 20 years and is to be gradually renewed in order to meet current technical, operational and future requirements. The total connected load of the property is approximately 11.5 MW. The switchgear to be considered within the scope of this measure accounts for approximately 4.7 MW. In addition, in future it is planned to integrate photovoltaic installations with a capacity of approximately 1.5 to 2.0 MW. The switchgear to be planned is to be designed accordingly for the switching and supply capacities expected in future.
