TENDER DESCRIPTION

The object of this public call, by public tender, is the establishment of a paid exclusive use concession in favor of the entity/entities awarded, regarding two plots owned by the Barcelona City Council, with the purpose of allocating them to the promotion, construction, and management of buildings of dwellings with official protection under the general rental regime. Specifically, this public tender includes the following main services: The establishment of exclusive use concessions in favor of the awardees of this tender for an initial period of 50 years, expressly extendable for an additional period of 25 years more, with the total duration of the concession not exceeding 75 years; the promotion by the awardees of housing buildings on the plots; the conservation, including maintenance investments called CAPEX, management, and operation by the awardees of the housing buildings to be constructed; the leasing of the dwellings built by the awardees, as holders of the concessions resulting from this tender, for use as habitual and permanent residence of the tenants; the reversion of the buildings constructed to the land owner at the end of the concession period, which will expire…
