TENDER DESCRIPTION
The extension to FAM aims to expand the existing areas and create better physical conditions for the emergency reception's functions. The project includes the construction of a new building section that is connected to the existing FAM building at New OUH. The project is carried out as part of the overall hospital construction and is executed in direct connection with an existing and simultaneously constructed building. The building has been built as a shell prior to the start of the tendered contracts and includes the ground floor as well as several floors above ground level. The extension to FAM is connected to the adjacent building, which entails technical and structural interfaces that must be managed in planning and execution. The project is tendered as several independent contracts that together must ensure completion of the building towards handover. The works are carried out in parallel and with mutual dependencies, so coordination, sequencing and readiness of the building are central to the project implementation.
