TENDER DESCRIPTION

The South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences Ltd (hereinafter Xamk) requests a tender for a solution required for the CIRCAIDE project, concerning the identification of construction and demolition waste materials using a hyperspectral camera by aerial imaging. The procurement is carried out as part of the CIRCAIDE project, which is a European Union co-financed project of the Interreg Central Baltic programme 2021–2027. The project duration is 1.6.2026–31.5.2029. The equipment will be placed in the Materials and Environmental Safety Research Unit in Mikkeli. The subject of the procurement is a drone-compatible (DJI Matrice 400) hyperspectral camera that enables the identification of construction and demolition waste materials by aerial imaging. In addition, the procurement includes the processing software required for handling the data and hands-on user training. This equipment will become part of Xamk’s Materials and Environmental Safety Research Unit, and it is expected to strengthen research and development activities.
