TENDER DESCRIPTION
The following procurement is being carried out on behalf of the faculty: At the University Medicine Halle, the ERDF-funded project "Central German Cell Therapy Center (MZZ) - Location University Medicine Halle: Institute for Cell Therapy Halle (IZH)" (process number of the Investment Bank Saxony-Anhalt: ZS/2024/01/183691; internal faculty project number: 2024_0238) has been approved. This project also has a separately approved equipment investment, through which an expansion of the equipment inventory described here is to be carried out. The long-term goal of the project is to produce cell therapeutics on site and make them available to our patients. In addition, another focus formulated in the application is the preclinical-translational research of new cell therapeutics and the development of new manufacturing methods. This research focus requires an expansion of the equipment inventory with a spectral flow cytometer for analysis. With this device, measurements of primary cells after antibody or other cell staining are to be performed to allow extensive analyses of cell composition.
