TENDER DESCRIPTION

Semi-mechanised timber harvesting. Mostly Scots pine. Broadleaf trees only for the creation of skid roads (blue vertical hatching). A heavy timber harvester is required. The forwarder must, where soil-friendly possible, begin timber removal no later than one week after the harvester. Possibly straps/belts must be fitted. High requirements for compliance with the skid roads (skid road marking: blue double transverse lines). Where possible, minimal driving on forest trails (partly only soil-solid). No driving path on the skid roads deeper than 10 cm. Coupled GPS system between harvester and forwarder. GPS recording of its own driving. Daily transmission of the harvester log. Extraction trees (marked in red) which, even after they have been felled, cannot be reached from the skid road, remain in the stand. Use of a mechanical felling wedge. Tarmacked roads must be cleaned daily at the latest at the end of each working day in the event of contamination. Map attached.
