TENDER DESCRIPTION

Partially mechanised timber harvesting. Predominantly Scots pine. Broadleaved trees only for the layout of rides/lanes (vertical blue striping). A heavy-duty timber harvester is required. The forwarder must, if possible in a manner that is gentle on the ground, commence timber haulage at the latest one week after the harvester. If necessary, straps/banding must be applied. High requirements for ride/ lane conformity (lane marking: double transverse blue lines). As little use as possible of the footpaths/walking trails (partly only trafficable when soil is firm). No wheel track on the rides/lane deeper than 10 cm. Coupled GPS system between harvester and forwarder. GPS recording of the forwarder’s/its own driving. Daily transmission of the harvester log. Extraction trees (marked in red) that cannot be reached from the ride/lane if they fall over by themselves remain in the stock/stand. Use of a mechanical felling wedge. Paved roads must be cleaned daily at the latest at the end of work if they become soiled. Map attached. Additions to the legend: polter options = polter; yellow line = path.
