TENDER DESCRIPTION

The wastewater treatment plant Langen is to be expanded by a 4th treatment stage for the elimination of micropollutants. On the basis of a long-running research project at the wastewater treatment plant, a process combination of cloth filtration and activated carbon filtration has been selected. In preparation for changing requirements relating to treatment performance, provision is also to be made for the possibility of a later expansion to include ozonation. The hydraulic connection to the existing plant is provided via an intermediate pumping station, which will direct the flow from conventional wastewater treatment into the new treatment stage and will henceforth function as a floodwater pumping station. With this contract, the supply, installation and commissioning of the E&I technology are being tendered. Further information can be found in the present specifications and in the contract documents.
