E21 - Nya slussar - Trollhätte kanal, Trollhättan

TENDER DESCRIPTION

Contract type: Collaborative contracting (TEM) with Phase 1 in accordance with ABK09 and Phase 2 in accordance with ABT06. The works for the new lock line Trollhättan include: • Construction of three new locks consisting of a triangular lock upstream and a lock staircase downstream with an intermediate approx. 150 m long lock channel • Extensive rock excavation for the lock line • Towpaths and concrete quay walls • Lock technology and lock gates • Technical buildings and the canal control centre • Widening of the existing rock canal • Movable flap bridge over the rock canal (Västergärdet Bridge) • Swing/openable bridge over the new lock line • Dredging of the new shipping channel • Temporary loading quay • Construction of roads, footpaths and cycle paths • Dam structures: RD piles with capping beam, and Lamel dam • Securing of the existing lock facility against dam failure, and adaptation of the existing lock area. • Remediation of contaminated land on the existing industrial site Approximate quantities • Rock excavation, lock line: 750 000 m3 • Soil excavation, lock line: 100 000 m3 • Rock excavation, rock canal: 80 000 m3 •…
