EDC/2026/4456 Framework for Traffic Signal Equipment Maintenance, Supply & Associated Works

TENDER DESCRIPTION

The proposed conditions of contract are the clauses of the NEC4 Framework Contract June 2017 (with amendments January 2023), as set out in Volume 2 of the procurement documents. As set out in Volume 3 of the procurement documents, a Term Service Short Contracts (TSSC) work order will be issued under the Framework Contract to the 1st ranked supplier for annual inspection, maintenance, fault management & repairs of Traffic Signal Equipment for the duration of the Framework. Engineering & Construction Short Contract (ECSC) work orders may be issued for the Supply & Commissioning of Traffic Signal Equipment and may include associated civil works when required by the client. ESSC work order will be subject to further competition under the framework, where the estimated value is above 20,001.00 GBP. The work within the framework scope is as detailed in the procurement documents and may include, without limitation: -Routine planned annual inspection and maintenance of Traffic Signal Equipment -Routine planned annual inspection and maintenance of Traffic Signal Optical Equipment -Cleaning of Optical lenses and reflectors; pedestrian push button units, ancillary regulatory signs…
