TENDER DESCRIPTION
An energy-efficient refurbishment and extension of the existing energy museum is planned on the Kraftwerk Mitte site in Dresden. The refurbishment of the building is intended to enhance the building as a museum. The new construction will include offices, a foyer with an event space, sanitary facilities and a circulation core. In front of the museum, a forecourt will be created, as well as an external stair system connecting the existing building and the new construction. The buildings have the following dimensions: • Existing building L x W: approx. 28.00 m x 18.85 m • New build L x W: approx. 18.05 m x 17.50 m (27.00 m overhang 3rd floor) The following services are involved: - Thermal insulation layer between rafters: mineral wool 0.035W/(mK), thickness D 180 mm, rafter spacing 80–90 cm, <3.6 kg/m²: approx. 550 m² - Thermal insulation layer: fitting/working on the roof structure: approx. 160 m - Airtightness layer, moisture-variable, sd,min ≤ 0.3 m; sd,max ≥ 23 m: approx. 550 m² - Airtightness layer: fitting/working on various substrates (masonry, steel timber framing): approx. 350 m - Cladding of the sloping roof with plasterboard, incl. 12.5 mm, including…
