SBH | Schulbau Hamburg has, as a state-owned enterprise of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (hereinafter referred to as SBH), the task of planning, constructing, maintaining and operating the school properties in accordance with economic principles, taking account of the needs of the schools, and of leasing more than 400 schools to the Authority for Schools and Vocational Training (Behörde für Schule und Berufsbildung, BSB). --------------- On the plot Eibenkamp 1, 22559 Hamburg, Schulbau Hamburg is constructing for the Stadtteilschule and the Gymnasium Rissen a shared upper-secondary school building. Due to its location at the landscape conservation protection area, the building is to be implemented as a sustainably innovative timber construction with open learning areas, communal areas and a one-court sports hall. The building falls under building class 3 in accordance with HBauO. A building permit (approval) is in place.
