SBH | Hamburg School Construction (Schulbau Hamburg) has, as a state-owned enterprise of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (hereinafter referred to as SBH), the task of planning, constructing, maintaining and operating school properties in accordance with economic principles while taking into account the needs of the schools, and of leasing more than 400 schools to the Authority for Schools and Vocational Training (Behörde für Schule und Berufsbildung, BSB). --------------- On the plot Eibenkamp 1, 22559 Hamburg, Hamburg School Construction is building a shared upper secondary school building (Oberstufenhaus) for the Stadtteilschule and the Gymnasium Rissen. Due to its location in the landscape conservation area, the building is to be realised as a sustainably and innovatively designed timber construction with open learning areas, community areas and a one-field sports hall. The building falls under building class 3 pursuant to HBauO. A building permit (approval) is in place.
