TENDER DESCRIPTION

Services are to be provided in the field of self-monitoring for seven secured contaminated sites within the urban area of Hamburg. These are the Pollhornweg old waste disposal site, the Eckerkoppel old waste disposal site, the Havighorster Moor old waste disposal site, the Brümmer old waste disposal site, the Georgswerder landfill, the Neuhöfer Straße old waste disposal site and the Moorfleeter Brack old waste disposal site. The aim of the self-monitoring programmes to be carried out in the long term is primarily reliable monitoring of function and effectiveness with regard to the containment structures (in particular surface sealing). The scope of services in particular includes carrying out hydraulic on-site measurement programmes to monitor the leachate-containment bodies of the contaminated sites (measurement of leachate pond water levels, oil levels and oil layer thicknesses), on a quarterly to annual basis, taking into account increased occupational health and safety requirements.
