TENDER DESCRIPTION

Services are to be provided in the area of self-monitoring for seven secured contaminated sites in the city area of Hamburg. These are the Pollhornweg former waste disposal site, Eckerkoppel former waste disposal site, Havighorster Moor former waste disposal site, Brümmer former waste disposal site, Georgswerder landfill site, Neuhöfer Straße former waste disposal site and Moorfleeter Brack former waste disposal site. The objective of the long-term self-monitoring programmes is primarily reliable function and effectiveness monitoring with regard to the securing structures (in particular surface sealing). The scope of services in particular includes carrying out hydraulic on-site measurement programmes to monitor the contaminated site leachate impoundment bodies (measurement of perched water levels, oil levels and oil layer thicknesses) on a quarterly to annual basis, taking into account increased occupational health and safety requirements. Furthermore, groundwater level measurements are to be carried out to a lesser extent.
