The contracting authority is already an employer who bears the risk for the WGA and is insured. The contracting authority wishes to take out a new WGA employer’s risk-bearing insurance with effect from 1-1-2027, in order to cover all attributable costs relating to the WGA employer’s risk bearing. In doing so, besides basic cover, the run-off risk must also be covered. The contracting authority is already an employer who bears the risk for the Sickness Benefits Act (Ziektewet) and also intends to continue to do so throughout the entire term of the new WGA insurance.
