TENDER DESCRIPTION
As part of the supply of electrical energy, which is indispensable for the propulsion, maintenance and administration of the electric public-transport vehicles that transN provides, transN is organizing a public tender procedure for the acquisition of an electricity supply for future years. The tender procedure is intended only for the “energy part” of the electricity supply. This tender procedure includes a single lot that groups the different points of consumption (POD) for a single group: · NON-RAIL POD. These are all eligible PODs that do not relate to the traction of railway vehicles, such as buildings, the traction of trolleybuses, funiculars and in the future electric buses. The high uncertainty regarding the decarbonisation strategy for road vehicles, with replacement by electric vehicles, prevents projecting realistic estimates beyond 2028.
